Your deal flow is not training data

June 5, 2026 · 3 min read

Every acquisitions team we talk to asks a version of the same question before they upload a single OM: what happens to our data? It's a fair question, and it deserves a direct answer instead of a buried clause in a privacy policy.

The short answer

We do not use your private deal documents to train shared or public models, and we do not share your pipeline with other customers. Your documents are processed to produce your underwrite, sent back to you, and that's it.

How processing actually works

When you upload an offering memo or a rent roll, the relevant content is sent to our AI and infrastructure providers acting on our behalf, solely to extract structured data and return a result. Our large-language-model provider processes that content to deliver the result. It does not use that content to improve its own models.

This is a meaningful difference from a consumer AI tool. A consumer chatbot's business model can depend on learning from what you type. A business underwriting tool's model depends on the opposite: your data staying yours, isolated from every other customer's pipeline, so competing acquisition teams using the same product never see each other's deals.

Why this matters for a deal team specifically

An OM contains information a seller and broker shared under an assumption of confidentiality: pricing expectations, in-place financials, sometimes tenant-level detail. A tool that touches that document has to meet the same bar a human analyst would: use it to do the job, and nothing else.

The full detail (what we collect, who we share it with, and how long we keep it) is in our privacy policy at aximon.ai/privacy.
